Aim of MLS.D : 

The aim of the Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS.D) program is to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge in medical laboratory science, fostering evidence-based medicine and enhancing diagnostic proficiency. This program strives to introduce emerging diagnostic techniques, instill principles of laboratory safety, provide structured clinical internship experiences, facilitate research capacity building, and develop graduates with strong managerial skills. Ultimately, the program aims to produce well-rounded medical laboratory scientists who are competent in various specialties, capable of coordinating laboratory services, contributing to innovative biomedical research, and improving diagnostic methods.

Duration: 6 years

Admission: Applicants to the 6-Year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS.D) degree must have either 

  1. Credit in the THREE WASSCE/SSCE core subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits in THREE WASSCE electives: Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics) and must pass an assessment examination and interview OR 
  2. Graduates of allied disciplines such as Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology etc. with a good first degree, may enter the Programme in Year THREE after passing an assessment examination and interview OR
  3. Holders of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Diploma and HND in Science Laboratory Technology that have at least 6 WASSCE/SSCE passes as in a) above may enter the Programme in Year TWO or THREE after passing an assessment examination and interview. OR 
  4. Graduates with a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science may enter the Programme in Year 5 (2 years duration) after passing an assessment examination and interview.

Aim of MLS.D : 

The PharmD programme is to equip students with the scientific knowledge and skills to manage pharmaceutical care problems of the communities in Ghana. Its uniqueness lies in the use of Community-Based Education and Service (COBES) to integrate the students into the deprived communities where they will live with them, learn about their pharmaceutical problems and help solve such problems in the future by accepting postings to such communities when they finally complete the programme.

Duration: 6 years

Admission: Applicants to the 6-Year Doctor of  Pharmacy (PharmD) degree must have either

Aim of MSc in Nursing : 

The MSc programme in nursing aims to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as Nurse Clinicians and Administrators in a wide variety of professional settings.

Duration: 12 Months

Admission:

Eligibility Criteria/Admission Requirements:

  1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, and/or a Registered Public/ Community Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. In the case of foreign applicants, they should be registered with their respective countries.
  2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of a regular degree course in Nursing – (BSc. (Hons) and BA (Hons) in Nursing or Midwifery or Public/ Community Health Nursing with a minimum of a Third Class or 55% aggregate marks, in an institution that is recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC, Ghana) and the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
  3. The candidate should have a minimum of one year experience after BSc/BA. Nursing or Midwifery or Public/ Community Health Nursing. One-year national service/internship after successful completion of four-year BSc/BA. Nursing/Midwifery can be considered as experience.
  4. The candidate should have a minimum of one year experience prior or after regular Basic BSc./BA Nursing, Midwifery or Public/ Community Health Nursing.
  5.  The candidate should be medically fit.
  6. All applicants for the MSc program must pass a selection interview with a minimum of 55% marks

Aim of  MPhil in Nursing:

Aim of  MPhil in Midwifery

The MPhil program in midwifery aims to equip midwives with advanced skills in midwifery education, clinical practice, leadership, and research

The MBA programme in Accounting and Finance seeks to educate and prepare a diverse group of men and women with the knowledge, analytical ability, and hands-on learning experiences combined with practical classroom instruction and management perspectives and skills needed to provide leadership to organizations. The programme will integrate business data and concepts with core business knowledge to make tactical and strategic business decisions using appropriate information technology.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Early Childhood Education at KAAF University is designed to equip educators with advanced knowledge, practical skills, and specialized training to transform early childhood learning in Ghana. The program offers a strong foundation in child development theories, effective pedagogical practices, assessment strategies, and inclusive education, complemented by immersive internships and teaching practicums in real-world early grade settings. Students will gain hands-on experience through classroom observations and interactive teaching opportunities, while specialized modules in inclusive and multicultural education, as well as support for children with special needs, address critical skill gaps in the current education landscape. Beyond the classroom, the program fosters a collaborative research environment that encourages innovation and the exchange of best practices among educators and scholars, ultimately contributing to the continuous improvement and professionalization of early childhood education nationwide.

Duration: The M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education shall take 12 months (1year) full-time and 24 months (2 years) part time programme which will run on sandwich basis (vacations and weekend) 

Entry Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, at least 2nd Class Lower Division from any recognized university in Early Childhood Education or related field of study (e.g., psychology, basic education, guidance & counselling, social work, nursing, etc).
  • The 2nd class ceiling would admit high calibre of applicants. Also applicants from related fields would have the opportunity for admission.
  • Applicants who obtained below 2nd Class Lower could be considered subject upon the current population they serve, and contingent upon passing a written and oral examination. This is to cater for applicants with proven potential and are considered as good Masters materials
  • English Language competency at the global undergraduate level demonstrated in oral interview and written examination.  English Language being the predominant medium of instruction is considered a prerequisite for admission
  • Computer literacy demonstrated by ease of use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. The programme’s teaching-learning process is heavily dependent on computer literacy, applications and information searching.
  • Digital competence demonstrated by ease of use of sending and receiving email and other digital communication. The programme’s teaching-learning process heavily requires digital competence in navigating through the programme.
  • Applicants must pass an interview to obtain admission. This is to assure quality of applicants for the programme.

The MPhil in Early Childhood Education at KAAF University is a transformative program designed to bridge critical skill gaps in Ghana’s early childhood education sector through an advanced, research-driven curriculum. This program empowers educators with in-depth knowledge of child development, evidence-based pedagogy, inclusive and multicultural teaching strategies, and modern assessment practices. By integrating hands-on training, academic research, and leadership development, the program prepares participants not only to improve classroom practices but also to influence policy and advocate for systemic reforms. With a strong emphasis on educational leadership, diversity, and data-informed decision-making, graduates will be equipped to drive innovation, lead professional development, and contribute meaningfully to improving early learning outcomes across Ghana.

Duration: The MPhil in Early Childhood Education shall take 24months (2 years) full time and 36 months (3 years) part time to complete.

What We Do:

The Registry team serves as the guardian of student records, ensuring that the university complies with its regulatory obligations and provides services including:
